I have a youtube channel in which i film myself lol, and I would like to get a new camera soon. I am debating between the Canon Rebel T3i or the Nikon D3200. They're both great cameras, but I'm not sure which one is best for filming. I would like something that can make the background soft and blurry, while it's focused on you (if that makes any sense, because lenses are too expensive to buy atm Razz) If there are any camera experts out there, i need ya xD thanks in advance for anyone who gives their suggestions or opinions. xx

Hm, I'm not the best on the topic of cameras let alone talking about ones with good video quality/auto focusing, but I can say that I've always preferred Canon cameras over Nikon. However, both cameras are nice, so I guess if you want you can check online stores for reviews on the two individual cameras. cx

Honestly I'm not a camera expert, but my family had also always liked Canon over Nikon. We currently own a Canon camera. I don't know anything about the video quality or features though. xD

Like everyone else, I'm not super knowledgeable on which would be best for videos, but I personally prefer Canon. I'm sorry I am not of much help, good luck with your channel though (:

In my honest opinion Canon's are better for videos, while Nikon's are better for pictures.
You can check DigitalRev TV on youtube when it comes to cameras, although they can be a bit childish they honestly helped me what DSLR brand to pick for my own likings LOL.
EDIT-
WAIT DO NOT GET THE NIKON D3200... makes so much noise while focusing on video... like I said Nikon's are better for pictures after all.
BUT still check out DigitalRev TV.. it will honestly save you a million bucks LOL.
